UV protection for a 2015 Lexus RX350
I drive a lot and tend to get spots on my face on my left side. spots on my hands from the windshield sun and left arm. What kind of protection from UV comes standard on the 2015 Lexus RX 350. I found some infor on previous models 2010- thinking of getting a better tint if it's not enough.

I have 3M Crystalline tint on my windshields in addition to all other windows. These go from 90% ( very light and almost totally clear) to a little bit darker at 40%(their "darkest").

I have 70% on my windshields on all my Lexus vehicles (90% would be too light and 40% too dark on windshields). All have 99.9% UV rejection rate.
I have 40% on all the other windows.
Some shops will not do your windshields UNLESS YOU provide a note from your doctor (eye doctor, optometrist will be fine or your primary care doctor). Some shops will do it, but only cash and no receipt for windshields (but can be a warranty issue down the road).
The 3M Crystalline is VERY VERY VERY GOOD. But expensive. You probably can spend less than 1/3 compared to the 3M Crystalline, but I would not use the cheap ones on my windshield. You need optical clarity plus heat rejection (almost all tints nowadays will reject UV, but it's the optical clarity and heat rejection what you want). You don't want the windshield tint to bubble up of turn purple on you later on.
There are others that are "good enough" for the windshield (cheaper, but performs a bit less). I've used the ceramic films from Solar Guard before and it was very good as well, but the heat rejection is not as good as the 3M Crystalline.
