I have a 2010 Lexus RX 350. When I try to connect my ipad, I get BT-A No Connect or Error 6 messages. I have selected AUX-USB and I have the USB cable connected to the ipad and the Blue tooth setting is on. IThank you for your help.

The USB connector is mainly for playing music. I have a flash drive plugged into mine. It appears unable to handle an iPad. The infotainment system is pretty crude in this vehicle, I would experiment and unplug the USB cable.
Bluetooth and USB seem redundant. Try just the Bluetooth.

And check the manual as Bluetooth may only work with a phone for calls.....

Bluetooth in pre-2010's was for phone only. Starting in 2010 you can pair both phone and audio.
There is a difference between "paired" and "connected". You may pair up to four (4) phone devices
and up to two (2) audio devices. Your phone may be one of each. Your iPad would go in as one
of the two audio devices. Clutchless is correct, don't try to connect with both USB & Bluetooth.
iPads draw more power than the 500 milliamp (0.5 amp) USB can supply so plug it in to one of the
12v plugs in the bottom of the console (under the lift out bucket). Pair it using Menu/Settings/Audio.
