Center console cover suggestions please?
Hello
I am looking for a center console cover for my 2010 RX350 , since the leather is breaking up from the corner courtesy my sons shoes [his car seat is in the center]. I have seen some Jeep covers on Amazon but nothing for Lexus. Can someone please guide, else I will have to stick with the head shower cap
Thanks

The $$ for a cover is cheaper than a new console lid, but Salim (post #6 below) has the best idea yet!
Besides... I just double checked, and it's really only $59... http://www.rmsheepskin.com/cgi-bin/S...vd1199ffef7bef

Sounds stupid but a big sock! Yes a sock stretched over the lid. I used to do this to another vehicle when I was doing some construction stuff. Put them over the arm rests to. Take them off to wash and away you go!
They come off easy and replacing it is also easy and cheap. Go to a fabric store and grab a piece of leather, take your time putting it on and good as new. I watch some video how to install them and did it myself.

I have one more suggestion which may mean more work for parents.
Just take the shoes off. Leaving from home we used to carry the shoes to the vehicle and had to put them on for them before getting out. On our way back we would remove them before planting the kiddo in the seat. Our home is no shoes inside home, so it worked out out fine for us.
If I was driving my wife would play with 10 little piggies with the tiny toes.

I just purchased a console cover that I recommend
When I was shopping for my newly purchased 2015 RX 350 I noticed a lot of of the console covers were cracked and peeling, probably because people rest their arms on them. I found a console cover from www.carconsolecovers.com that I have just received and it seems to work car good on my RX. Costs around $40 with shipping. I got the neoprene tan color and it looks good with my parchment interior, not a perfect color match but looks good. Fits well. They have other materials and colors and also seat covers. I noticed they have a sale on right now.
