Replacement Amplifier in 2010 RX 350.
I lost sound from radio/CD (but NAV still works). The dealer wants over $1,000 to replace the amp. Are there any cheaper alternatives?

Welcome and do try a search as this has been covered before. You have to get an OEM amp. What year is your car, as it appears you no longer have a warranty.
The options are to get a used one from rancho cordova used Lexus parts (Google it), or buy a new one at a discount from one of the online dealers such as www.mylparts.com or www.lexuspartsnow.com but you still need someone to install it, although it is likely plug and play once you get at it as it is under the rear seat and into the spare tire area. I am sure a car audio place could do it for less than the dealer if you got the amp yourself.

Thank you Clutchless. Being new to this, I looked but couldn't find other threads addressing this issue for a 2010 RX350. In any event, I really appreciate the guidance and info you provided.
