Has anyone replaced their torn boots with aftermarket ones like this for $16.95 or these probably won't last so splurge for the OEM boots
Can someone please confirm that the OEM part number is: 481570E010 it doesn't show for my 2010 RX350 AWD so I looked up a 2012 highlander

Go for it, it’s the same for the Highlander. Same boot for 2004-2015 RX / 2004-2013 Highlander. 1999-2003 RX and 2001-2003 Highlander one will fit too I tried.

Which part number did you use?

Some of the part nos are superseded so they’re probably old stock.
I used Monroe 909943, which is based off of part no. 48157-48030. I would just get that because the Monroe is kind of cheap quality. This is on my 2002 Highlander, but the part is the same.

how long do shocks/struts last?
I have a 2012 Rx450h with about 63k miles.
If I floor it the nose lifts so extremely that the steering becomes very light. ( I do this very rarely) The rear squats too.
If braking hard the nose dives ( I have done this for deer and once with a skunk) The car stops amazingly well it just seems to dive quite a bit.
Windy highway driving requires constant attention.
driving over a bad road surface like a bridge joint can cause the car to bobble around a bit.
I have new tires and had an alignment at the time. Neither of these made any change to the handling.
I had my brakes changed recently and there was a lot of scummy dirt on the front rims. Oil leakage from the struts? They had gotten dirty before but nothing like this,
Forgot to add there is an annoying rumbling that comes from the front. I'm guessing its something to do with the suspension as it comes and goes depending on the road.
I'm now wondering if the life of the shocks/ struts is over and I need to change them?

They sell quick struts for the front that includes the spring and everything else pre assembled. I’m a not fan of them as they tend to use lesser quality parts but people like them for simplicity.
If you’re after a quality Lexus ride, consider rebuilding the front struts with new Lexus parts and keeping the Lexus springs. For the rear you can go with KYB shocks as the OE is not very good and was originally made by Tokico.

I agree that if you replace the front struts you need to keep your old springs etc and just replace the struts.
The rumbling in the front could also be front wheel bearings that are worn out. You really need an independent mechanic to inspect your vehicle suspension. Even get a couple of opinions. I would not trust a dealer on this evaluation and they will charge twice as much to do any of the work.

If you Google search that part number, with Bilstein in front it will show up at several of the main online sellers such as Rock Auto, eBay, Shock Warehouse, Car ID, Tire Rack, Summit Racing etc.
I think eBay may be the only place that has someone claiming to have it in stock.
That number is for the B6 front passenger side. It is officially listed for the 2011 etc Highlander.

Yes, no one has it except on ebay (seller is doubtful). Some retailers have said that it may take 4-6 months before the US gets it from Germany or elsewhere. Since I can't get it, do you think it will be ok to put the B4s in front? Thanks for your support.

You could if you wanted to, but I would spring for the better B6. The B4 is an OEM replacement of higher quality, but the B6 is even nicer quality and are rhe beefed up performance units. If you want a more comfortable ride over handling, I would get the B4s.
If you already ordered the rears B6, I would get B6 front - you’ll want to keep the stiffness rate between the front and rear as a matched set.
