2014 to 2015 differences? Looking to get an RX 350
Hey guys (and gals),
I'm looking at getting a RX 350 as my next car. I found a sweet used one at a local Lexus dealer and it's a 2014. I was wondering if it's a good buy or should I opt for a 2015? Were there any changes in the model years?
What do you guys think of this particular one?

Any problem areas with these cars? I drive a 2001 Lexus ES300 right now and it's still going strong, but I need something bigger.
Thanks,

The lower lip of the front bumper is also slightly different. 2015 it's bigger.
The mileage here is lower than average for a 2014. Have you looked at any 2013's? They're very similar to the 2014 and might offer better value.

Like the LOW mileage on the gray one you're looking at. Car looks good too. What's Carfax say? Or do you even have Carfax in Canada?
Edmunds also adds that the display(s) and human interface were improved for 2015, but it's still awful IMHO.
Lexus service records for our recently purchased 2015 indicate nothing was ever repaired or replaced--just regular scheduled maintenance done.

Seems like a good buy?

No private local ones for sale around here, plus, my family has pretty bad experience buying from private. Original dealerships selling their own make cars are a pretty good bet here in Canada at least.

There are more differences between the package levels then from 2014 to 2015 model years. If you're trying to make sure you get the most features for the dollar, compare your choices by equipped packages. This one you are looking at is a "Premium" package, which is on the lower end. These were the model packages for the 2014 RX350 in Canada:
- The Premium Package adds: perforated leather seat surfaces with heated and ventilated front seats and the driver seat memory system; auto dimming side view mirrors; high intensity discharge headlights and the auto leveling headlamp system; and more.
- The Touring Package builds on the Premium Package, adding: the Lexus blind spot monitor and intuitive parking assist; a voice-activated HDD based navigation system with Remote Touch; larger, 19” alloy wheels with locks; a wood and leather wrapped steering wheel and shift ****; heated steering wheel; and an enhanced audio system with in-dash DVD, subwoofer and XM Real Time Traffic capability.
- The Technology Package builds on the Touring Package, adding: Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management; head-up display; 15-speaker, 7.1-channel Mark Levinson surround sound audio system; premium leather seat surfaces, illuminated front door sill trim; additional wood grain interior trim; and more.

Haha you guys maybe think I'm crazy but I'm actually considering this car too. It's extremely clean (only 8.5 k miles) and top of the line limited trim. I think it has many of the features of the base RX, heated streering wheel too.
What do you think?

Not crazy , I considered one , too , we bought the 2012 RAV4 V6 instead .
They quit making them (Venza) cuzz it looked too much like the new Rx .
If that are about the same price , I'd go for the Rx
