android and the RX350
So I just purchased a 2015 RX350, I would like to set up my phone (Samsung galaxy note 8) to respond to texts, is this possible? If not can I change the default text response messages? Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can respond with several pre- saved messages. You can also create your own. You cannot, as far as I know, respond with anything but the "pre-recorded" messages. It will also, sometimes, show you incoming messages on the nav screen. I say sometimes because sometimes mine doesn't. It will also read them to you.

Off the top of my head, and without being in the car, I don;t recall. But I stumbled on it when going through menus. If I remember correctly, if you can get to where you can see the pre-made messages you'll see the option to make new ones. If I find myself out in the garage today with my keys I'll take a look.

It appears you can only edit existing messages and not create new messages like I said you could. Sorry about that.
