2015 Lexus RX350 noise
2015 Lexus 350RX has worsening interior noise. Either from back seat or back door. Anyone else have this. Solution?

Welcome to CL.
What kind of noise are you talking about? Rattle? Squeak? Drumming noise? Ticking? Wind whistle? Is the noise there only when the car is at motion (at slow or high speeds)...or also at a stop? There isn't much we can help you with without some more details.

You know, now that I think about it, I have a similar issue but only in very cold (i.e., 20 degrees F or lower) weather when my car has been parked outside. There's a slight rattle or ticking coming from the rear driver's side of the car. Is that similar to what you have?

First step is to secure or take everything loose out of the trunk/cargo area that can rattle (including jacking-tools), and see if the noise is still there. If so, then a Technician or mechanic might have to go inside the door/window panel or rear hatch-lid and see if there is anything loose. Door/window hardware inside the panel coming loose over time, and giving small rattles, is a fairly common occurrence.

could be a load of things... if coming behind the driver could be in the cargo area, under the floor. could be a rear suspension bushing, sway bar bushing, seats, rear seat belts jangling around.
if it's easily reproduced have someone ride in the back or even the cargo area to pinpoint it more.
or you could just move to florida and avoid the cold.

I had what sounded like a metallic rattle (almost like two quarters jingeling) coming from the back when I hit bumps. I had my wife drive and rode in the back and I'd've bet money it was coming from inside the hatch about 8 inches under the window on the left side. I kind of ignored it, then did some digging around here and saw mentions about the hatch latch squeaking. I dismissed that because I "knew" it was up inside the hatch. Then I got to looking close at the little plastic flapper thing that is around the hatch latch and noticed some friction marks so I dabbed some silicone spray on that area and also on the latch itself (the part at the bottom not on the hatch) and the "rattle" went away.

You'll just have to track it down as there are many possible sources. We have a rattle coming from the rear and I've narrowed it down to a latch for the seats when the middle section is up. That's one possibility among many.

i had the exact same problem recently. i removed my rear license plate frame, removed the wheel lug nut in the trunk stow space, placed a little duct tape on two different spots on the back hatch clasp (advice from another thread here) and then i had my wife ride in the back to tell me exactly where the sound was coming from. turns out the thin upright mid section of the rear seat was back but not fully in place, so it was jiggling a small amount on hills and bumps. just pushed it hard backwards and it clicked into the locked position. sound gone.
