Battery: checked with voltmeter and has over 12.6
Battery terminal tight
Starter looks like it has been roughed up in the past (used car)
When I push the button lights on dash come on trunk lid has enough power to open
Pushing the button makes a click but no tumble.

Starter on order waiting call back.
Any other suggestions to look at?

How old is the battery? Although it's 12.6v (which does seem adequate) your battery may not be producing enough amperage which is needed to crank the engine. Is the battery terminal clean? Once on another vehicle, I disconnected the battery, cleaned the clips with a wire brush, reconnect and everything worked.

I would try getting a boost before looking at the more expensive options.

Check the MFG date on the battery itself ... if it's 5 yrs old or older, it's probably on its way out ... try to get a jump to see it would start then go get a new battery ... good luck ...
