2010 RX- Large Center Display Freezes!
I recently purchased a 2010 RX 350. Car runs great so far but recently the large center display (audio, cooling/heating, navigation) has been freezing up. Sometimes it will work fine and then all of the a sudden my mouse pointer disappears and I cannot select anything on the screen for a minute or two until it reappears. Then there is sometimes a lag after I click something or the music information freezes and the song name doesn't update. I have tried turning the display off from the screen and then turning it back on and sometimes that will help it-- but the freezing and delay usually returns after a while.
Is there a way to completely restart the system display, rather than just turning the screen off? Also, have any of you encountered this issue? Any simple fixes to try or does it look like I'm in for a costly repair?
Thanks!

By chance do you have an iPod, iPhone, or USB stick connected? I have seen this happen when the music device is having a hard time playing the content, the RX system kind of hangs while waiting for a response from the device.

Droid, good question. I have had my iPhone plugged in some and I've also used Bluetooth with it a lot-- I will have to pay closer attention to see if this is occurring when it is plugged in! Thank you!

Help Still Needed
So, I held in the power button and it didn't do anything-- didn't seem to restart the system at all? Also, it unfortunately freezes up regardless of whether or not anything is plugged into the USB.
Any other ideas of quick fixes or what might be going on??

Left radio button is On/Off and volume. The system reboot that John341 referred to is to
press that button in and hold it in for 4-5 seconds. The display should go black and 10-15
seconds later reappear, hopefully normal. This can be done while driving if needed.
