Default 2012 RX 350 Lease and New UX for 2 Seniors; Radio problems

Turning to the Club Lexus members for their two cents on each of the following, my wife and I are new senior citizens:

1/ The 2012 RX 350 lease I signed in July 2015 (leased a used car at a Lexus-sponsored 1% money factor, $354 a month, no money down) was set to come due this month, but Lexus Financial agreed to extend up to 6 months. I've gone maybe 14,000 miles in three years, it gets 17 mpg in local driving, this six year old RX now has only about 34,000 miles, and the lease buyout has been amended to $18K if I keep the car another six months...,We have a budget for the lease on any car, we also have a 2004 Toyota Solara Convertible (but live in the Northeast), and to lease a 2015 RX350 coming off lease is a possibility, it depends on the numbers, although we really don't need such a big car at this point. I'm now tempted to wait to look at this new UXh, which may or may not lease well since it will be dependent on residual value, money factor. Lexus says they'll extend my present lease further than six months if after viewing the new UX next December I'm interested in it and have to wait past January in order to get one. Any thoughts?

2/ The Lexus installed radio in the car recently went kablooey (is that a term of art?) I can't turn the radio on or off using the radio ****. The radio only works from the steering wheel. If I turn the radio **** while listening to FM radio, what will happen is that it will change the tab from "FM" to "BT". I had thought it was just the radio ****, nope, it's more serious, and I'm not about to put money into this car for a radio. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Happy Fourth!
