I've searched and searched and came up empty handed for a 3rd gen. I own a 2010 and am curious how it would look with a glossy black vinyl finish on the roof. There isn't much roof real estate with the sunroof and roof racks so I'm thinking it may look good since the car is tinted and the back rear wiper area is black.
Does anyone have any pics of this? I can upload some pics of mine if anyone has any photoshop skills as well. Thanks in advance!

where do you make the borders? in other words, where the does the black end and silver start? The A pillar is connected to the roof in one smooth body panel. Thus, the black would go all the way down to the hood (almost like eye make up around the front windshield).

so you'd end it right where the roof rail attachment starts? I get it.
What would you do in the rear? do you go all the way to the end including the spoiler? do you wrap that too? or do you leave that original color?

I'm not fully sure. I think that the spoiler black would flow with the window tint and the underside since its black. It may be too long though. I'f want to see it in person.

I think the trick is the wrap a small part of the spoiler to give it an elongated effect of the roof. Here is another wrap job with wrapping a part of the spoiler......http://i1370.photobucket.com/albums/...psf0fd3a03.jpg

Hey guys!
I just picked up a 13 RX350 Starfire Pearl, and I've always really liked the look of a gloss black roof. I got tint done as well. I've seen a gloss black roof done on the 4th gen and it looks really nice. But I can't find any pictures of how it would look like on a 3rd gen. Debating if I should try it, but I just wanted to see if anyone's done it and if so how do you like it and can you share a picture if possible that be great.
