Default Installing door edge guards

Just reaching out to anyone that might have a PDF of installing these door edge guards. Just purchased from Lexuspartsnow.com but no instructions for installing. I just need the location template for installing. I searched this forum but no one had the instructions. If anyone has a website that would have the install instructions that would be appreciated

Any suggestion would be helpful.
thx

Which guards? I just rolled U shaped tubing with adhesive in it onto the door edge and cut to size on the door. I am not sure what kind of fancy stuff you have that requires templates.

Something doesn't make sense. I've never seen anyone install silver/stainless door edge guards... they're usually clear or color matched to the paint. Can you post a pic of these guards? I think your terminology is different from mine.

They are painted to match the color of the vehicle.
Checkout Lexuspartsnow on the Web.

I meant a link to the part on their site...my search yielded only 2 items for the rear seat even though I used " door edge guard" for the search term.

Got it...now I understand. That website (which I've used before) save my vehicle information and only looked for parts that fit my vehicle. Your part number does not fit my vehicle so I could never see it.
I ordered similar for my Rx, and installed them without any templates. I more or less centered it vertically to make sure all the potential contact points were covered. Just make sure to match the position on the other side. If you really want to be OCD about it, you could go to the dealer lot and see vehicles with it pre-installed and see where they start from the top and how much gap is on the bottom.
