Default NEW Crystal Eye V3 Tail Lights

after using the crystal eye v2 Tail Lights for one year (LINK: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...9&postcount=29), I have seen there is a new version... cheaper.. easier to install. just plug in and ready.
The old lights had a problem as I had written in the old post. I have now recognized during the deinstallation what the problem was. ! LOL ! (the crystal eye cable from the trunk to the outside was broken and the taillights are still flawless)....

I have previously tried with the Japanese seller to solve the problem. but these guys did not want to talk and not help. quite unfriendly people in this shop!

I do not want to talk about it

OK, So, here's some information if anyone wants to buy and install this new Cristal Eye V3.

Those Tail Lights are all made in Taiwan
Informations: http://www.crystal-eye.jp/shopdetail...X/page1/order/ (the unfriendly guys who do not help and do not want to sell.)
Seller: https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/53687 (The Cool Guys, great Support, reliable, very fast delivery !, They organize Parts if not in the Shop available ! and export many JDM parts.)

If someone starts carrying these in the states and you guys find out, please post. I'd probably buy then.

Do you have the smoked red/clear version? Could you post a pic of the back view, without the lights illuminated please?

haha, I am not the photoshop specialist, but i made a picture from crystal eye 2 to version 3. (Picture quality last time with iPhone 7, now iPhone X That's why it looks a little different)
you have to photoshop the old original Lexus RX lights yourself. side by side
it always depends on the color of the car to which color should be selected in the lights.. For me, only the red clear matches to white car.
the two safety reflectors are slightly brighter on all cars than the taillights.. I think
One thing is for sure. swapping the old lights was a good decision to modernize the whole car.
psst: .. so.. by the way. the costs were .. 780 USD including transport and import tax to Switzerland, and 1 hour install.

Thanks for getting back to me... I just looked up the pricing and noticed Version 2 cost MORE than Version 3. Version 2 cost approximately $200 more than the newer model Version 3 which doesn't make sense to me. In your opinion, which light do you feel is better quality and which you actually prefer. I find the V2 to look more like the newer RXs here in the states, the only negative thing I see is that the back-up (reverse) bulb is exposed which looks a little non-factory vs the V3 which has the built-in LED reverse lamps within the housing. Also for the installation, it is my understanding that the V2 will require running extra wires to the center brake light to operate correctly. It is also my understanding the the V3 does NOT require any additional wiring. Could you shed some light on the matter...
Many thanks !

hi Al,
I still have both versions. the original lexus lights are currently installed. (I had to check the vehicle at the inspection point.) I was too lazy till today so far to install the V2 or V3 :-).. and I'm looking for a new used car rx450h F-Sport 2017 up. but I will definitely install the crystal light again because I find the original lights pretty ugly.
both v2/v3 are really good quality. Version V2 only had the long additional cable oxidized. the lights are still flawless! I think the v3 looks more modern with the L-design LED light. The shape actually corresponds mechanically/optical with the outer form to the new toyota or lexus design. however, i find the blinker led of the v2 more beautiful than the version 3.
definitely the v3 is a lot easier to install! it is really difficult to make a recommendation... sorry
