2012 RX350 + Platinum VSA
My wife brought in her suv this morning and among other things wanted them to look at a door speaker issue. She said her service advisor was in a pissy mood and said that it wasn't covered under warranty. Speakers aren't covered under warranty? I'm almost 99% sure I had a speaker issue on my 2002 GS that was covered under the Platinum VSA I had on the car. Is this guy just being dismissive or was that actually not included on the 2012 agreement? I don't have it handy but that seems odd.
EDIT: I just gave Lexus financial a call and it's definitely a covered part. So just the service rep pulling something out of his a$%.

FUNNY, All these Warranty places give you any excuse not to cover anything.
Me joking with my dealer "Is this the first red light stop warranty?
"Dealer says "what do u mean?"
Me:"You know, the first red stop light I get to, the warranty is no good!".
They didn't get it.

yes dealers are usually very dismissive on warranty work- especially with extended warranty. you need to know what you're covered for and not get taken advantage of. good luck
