2013 RX450h/350 Headlight HID bulb Replacement
#16
Pertaining to this thread, can someone point to the exact location of headlight adjustment screws? I've tried to search bit there are many videos pointing to the wrong place.

I think with the HID bulbs which have self levelers, you have to adjust the level device which is somewhere near the rear axle. There was a post on this subject. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ht-sensor.html
There was another on headlight adjustment - see post 7

There are many good bulb manufacturers, some well known and some unknown from China. Well known means Osram, Phillips, Toshiba (which appear to be on sale in the link below)
I bought mine here: Osram Nightbreakers.

Amazing! I bought 2 Toshibas. From everything I read on this forum, (and the is and gs Lexus forums) there's a 90% chance that lights acting up are due to a cheap bulb replacement. So we'll see how it goes. Price was amazing. thank you clutchless!!

It's explained in post 5 that you turn it. See the reprint below:
Well, got her done! It really was quite simple...I guess I didn't see the tabs on the back ballast thing when I first glanced at it. Anyways, after moving the coolant filler hose out of the way, I could twist the ballast part counterclockwise and move out of way. Disconnect electrical connector and then twist the bulb socket.
Two spring pin clamps to unhook and the bulb is free
Then See one of the many youtube videos showing HID bulb replacement on a Toyota or Lexus

I have 2013 Rx450h, my low beam HID light is out. I followed the steps in this thread, tried to replace the bulb and it still didn't work. I am thinking the ballast might be broken and need to be replaced, would appreciate any pointers to swap or replace the ballast itself.
