Orange Colored Wood Trim

Orange Colored Wood Trim
I thought I had a post on here inquiring about the orange colored wood trim Lexus has used over the years. Am I the only one that couldnt stand it? It is so nice to see that the newer models are done in an attractive darker wood grain.. Looking to buy a 2013 or newer RX and hope to gain some good info here...

Any idea what the actual name of the darker wood trim is? Our 2015 RX350's original window sticker just says "Genuine Wood Interior Trim". It would be helpful to know the actual name if refurbishing is needed down the road.

It is not a question of new or old. Different wood trims have been available over the years and the best place to compare/select is to look at the sales brochure of the model/year of vehicle you are interested in. The sales brochure also lists options which come pre-configured with each of the offerings. The pdfs are available on line too.
I too am partial to darker shade of wood, but some Burl Wood grain/color can be awesome.

2010-12 RX350's were offered with either Espresso Bird's-Eye Maple or Brown Walnut. 2013-15 models swapped out the Brown Walnut for Ebony Bird's-Eye Maple.
In North America, all 3rd-gen RX models had woodgrain in one of those three colours. Lower models in Europe offered non-wood interior pieces.
