Great DIY. Have a question, to replace the trim outside (on a 2004 RX330), do you have to take the door panel out inside? I think that's what this DIY is showing. I have a rear door trim with the black paint peeled off (poor design?). I believe this door trim was damaged when I had the car re-painted, maybe baked the whole car and it hastened the demise of the painted trim. The shop that did my paint said they can replace the trim, but I had to buy the trim. I should taken the offer.
Anyway one of these days I will have to get this replacement done. It looks ugly.

No, I don't need to remove the inside trim in order to remove outside trim and I don't think you need to remove the inside trim either for your car. The trims on the bottom side of glass should be easy to remove. The upper ones are harder, I think.
