Unknown wire connection

Hello guys
today I removed doorstep and I found wire unused connection plug under the step.
Anyone knows what is it for?

Today I found this unconnected wire plug under doorstep of my vehicle RX 350
Anyone knows what this for please?

Some better equipped models have scuff lights, this is probably for lighting the Lexus logo.
