Headrest stuck
I just picked up a pet cargo liner that goes all the way up the back seats and over them so we can bring the pooch to the park without having to worry about the carpet. In order to install it I need to remove the rear passenger headrests. I got all of them off but the drivers side rear seems stuck. When they are all stuck in their lowest position you have to maneuver your hand in there to push the button, but this button seems unresponsive. Is there a trick to unstick that sucker?
This is the liner: https://www.cargoliner.com/collectio...mate-pet-liner
thanks in advance

Spray some Silicone lube into the button cracks. The bottles come with a straw you can insert for pinpoint application. It may help free the button.

I would just dry work it up and down. Get the feel of how the button movement is felt by comparing it with the other side. Reach for a lubricant after making sure that the upholstery does not get damaged.

Maybe when you push your hand in to that space between the seat and headrest your putting pressure on the button and it wont release .
Try slipping something thin in there to push the button in . Then it should release . If your lucky .

I was also trying to raise mine to install a dog seat cover and it seemed to be stuck. I just kept pushing the button and working it up. At one point I thought the button was going to pull out of the seat an had to try to hold it down while pulling up. Not very good for a high end Lexus.
