2015 rx 350 vs 2012 ml 350
It's waste of money and time, if you choose the 2012 ML350, my experience, during delivery this certified used vehicle just 2 km from the dealership the 'check engine' I have turn back to the MB dealership and they gave me a rental as they fixed the 'check engine' issue. In many occassion in span of 5 years I had 8 or 10 times 'check engine' light on. One more example is change oil cost $150 for RX and $320 for the ML. I want a car to use and not for display. I am happy with Toyota, my 1999 Toyota 4runner LTD, I just disposed it last Dec (the guy who bought it is from Calgary, I'm in Toronto, he drove the car to Calgary w/o any trouble) due down-sizing, just one parking in the I'm going to move. I guess I'm a Toyota Loyalist. Almost a year now my only expense on this RX 350 F-SPORT is the oil change and 1" wheel spacers I added myself, this car is almost perfect...

Back in 98/99 there were only two vehicles to choose from, if you limited yourself to luxury sport-utes ... ML and RX.
I tested both and chose RX. Although RX sales just kept going up and up, and one would expect that RX would outnumber the ML, but in 7 years there were just a few ML on the road.

$150 for oil change ! You must be something else done
Lexus of Lakeridge cost is $99 , you do get the car washed and better food in waiting area
local Toyota dealer is $75 , ok coffee
costco is $50, $1.50 hot dog and drink

There are two Mercedes-Benz models that we came very close to purchasing (2015 CLS550 sedan and 2015 E350 cabriolet) during the past year. Both vehicles had been meticulously serviced, still had some factory warranty remaining, and were obviously pampered by their owners. But the long-term cost-of-ownership from a parts-and-maintenance requirement kept me from pulling the trigger on both occasions, much to the chagrin of my wife. Both cars were gorgeous, fast, luxurious, and sexy. In the end I was simply not willing to roll the dice on having to resolve highly-expensive major repairs as the cars aged.

I test drove a ML350. After hours and hours of research I narrowed down my list of cars I was interested in. The ml350 was one of them. I found one and drove out to take it for a spin. After about 15 seconds on the road, I turned around and went back... The windshield is like a foot tall... It's insane. You have no visibility. Funny how not a single auto review mentioned that glaring flaw.

There is no comparison as reliability is concerned. Lexus RX350 is the clear choice vs the MB ML350. Not to mention the running costs are much higher (even if you do your own oil changes. It's the other COSTLY items needing lots of TLC/replacement with the ML350).
HAPPY to hear you ditched the ML350!!! A used ML350 of the same year and similiarly equipped usually costs a lot less than the RX350. THE reverse is true when brand new. There is a reason why the ML350 takes a tremendous hit just a few years old.......price falls like a stone off a cliff.....

Maybe the majority of the ML's end up in the junk yard WAY BEFORE any of the RX's........
