the passenger side is loose/has popped out a little and there is a seam between the bumper and the guard, i ve been trying to find instructions on how to reattach it.

Go to an auto body shop. It should not cost much, if too much, file an insurance claim. Or just try pushing it back with your hands. However, all body shops will give free estimates and prices are lower when you tell them you are paying out of pocket.
