My destination assist doesn’t connect all of the time. This seems to happen most when I really need it.
Hate paying for a service I can t get to work when I need it. Anyone else have this problem?

Subscribed Destination Assist uses the cars 3/4 watt phone with the roof mounted antenna rather than
your 1/3 watt device with the antenna inside the car. Are you calling from places with out cell service?
Does your own phone show any bars of service? Are you carrying anything on the roof rack near the
shark fin antenna? You might try pressing the overhead "SOS" button which also uses the cars built
in phone. An automated voice will ask "Is this an Emergency" No and then "Would you like enrollment
or road side?" Enrollment. Now you will have an operator and explain your symptoms.
If you cannot get through on the Safety Connect, get the system to a Lexus or Toyota dealer to check out.
If you get through OK to S.C. then tell them of your failure to communicate.
