Buying Advice 2012 vs 2010 RX350

I bought a 2010 RX three years ago, the hybrid. But most of the car is identical to the conventional RX.
Finest vehicle we've ever owned. Usually you want to steer clear of the first year of a model freshening on the theory that there will be a couple of quirks that will be worked out the next year. But in our case, zippo, just a great car.
As for premium fuel, by now you must realize that this is the burning issue of the day, not Dem versus Repub or Bernie versus Biden. As an engineer, I personally have researched that the engine computer automatically adjusts for the octane difference. The book says premium because premium gives the higher HP number. But the difference is trivial.
