Serpentine belt, broken rear wheel stud, rear brake hardware
Broken wheel stud 13 rx 350 f-sport
Just some info here of things that I have done to my 13 RX F-sport. First the serpentine belt. I put this off way too long. It has been riding around with me in my truck since 11-17! A little tricky getting it all on the pulleys. I bought a Toyota replacement. The new one has "stitching" in a few spots. My original belt at 73k was overdue for replacement and the stitching was missing.
I have read all about wheel studs breaking but never had the enjoyment of such until recently. Possibly overtorqued at some point by a impact gun at a shop ( which I never use on my lugs at my house). Tightening it in a criss cross pattern it just snapped very easily. Bought a few extra studs and lug nuts. I tapped the old stud out and pulled the new stud in with a breaker bar through the hub.
While replacing my rear rotors I noticed the hardware that holds the e brake on seemed as though where the clips ride there was wear. I replaced these with new hardware that has a different shape from Toyota and seems more secure.
