Original Floor Mat color?
Just purchasing a 2014 RX450h with parchment interior color. I want to get new carpeted mats but don't know what color was original. I only see available online black and dark brown. The cargo comes in black, gray and ivory. Please let me know what color it originally came with, the seat mats and the cargo mat. Thank you.

Black floor mats always age much better than light color ones. I have two Lexus vehicles with parchment interiors and carpets. I have black floor mats in both they always look great even when dirty and are easy to vacuum clean. I had a 2005 ES330 with parchment and the beige floor mats and they looked like crap after only a few months due to all the dirt that showed up on them and that could not really be removed by cleaning.
Get Black floor mats or dark brown if you like that better.
However, my RX did come with a beige cargo mat that also looked dirty right away, but I covered it with a Lloyds synthetic mat in dark tan or taupe that is similar to a Weathertech mat. https://www.autoanything.com/cargo-l...A7773A0A0.aspx

^^ What he said. In nearly 50 years of owning and driving numerous vehicles I have learned that black-colored mats are the only way to go regardless of what material they are made of. Black goes with everything, looks better for far longer, and is easy to clean. Stick with black mats.

for those of you with OEM "black" carpeted mats, if you are trying to replace these, the color to buy is "ebony." Not black. if you look carefully, the Lexus OEM black carpeting is actually not entirely black. It's more like a very very dark grey.
