I am looking for RX 350 with PCS , so far I see mixed responses on internet , watching youtube videos , but no luck yet

In a simple way how to find whether or not RX 350 has PCS (I believe it start from 2014 on wards , but not really sure), pls help

 

On the right hand of the steering wheel there will be a button that looks like a Car with Radar coming out of it. Labeled P.232 on the diagram. Took me over a year a few years back to find it on my 2011..... Good luck! 2016+ it is way easier to find.

 

super rare option, don't think there are any outward indicators. just gotta search every car

 

PCS was available in all model years of the generation 3 RX - 2010 through 2015. You can view this information in the RX sales brochures at http://www.auto-brochures.com/lexus.html

As I mentioned in another recent thread, prior to the 2016 model year it was easier (actually it was much easier) getting PCS on a Toyota brand vehicle than it was on a Lexus brand vehicle. Both our 2012 Prius v wagon and 2014 Sienna van have PCS and DRCC.

PCS is more common on the gen 3 RX450h than on the non-hybrid RX if you don't mind one of those. The first used gen 3 RX450h that came up when I did an Internet search just now had PCS and DRCC.

 

PCS was packaged with the dynamic radar cruise control (DRCC), so that's what you need to look for. As Stoodo correctly noted, the clue will be to look for the vehicle to vehicle distance switch on the steering wheel.

My 2013 RX350 had it. It was definitely rare, but they are out there.
