I plugged an audio book on a thumb drive into the usb port but finished the book and I unplugged it. Then I plugged in another Thumb drive with music on it. The songs played but after they all played it continued to play the audiobook even though the drive with the book was not connected- only the music thumb drive?

I would look inside that thumb drive on a PC. The car does not have any download capability, and it can only read one folder deep on a thumb drive to access songs.

OK, I think I have it scoped out...

I just went back to the car and put in the thumb drive with the Tunes on it... it played normally.

Last time, when the book played, it had not been set to USB for quite some time (book's USB connected but not played.) I assume the book was there all the time waiting to be played, then I came along and removed the book's drive and put the music USB in and the tunes played.

So the tunes played until they all played once then the book started because it was still there.

Today I went to the car- turned on the USB- nothing plugged in and nothing played. Turned it off. Then I plugged in the music drive and viola' all music- no book.

I speculate the book was in memory until I tried to play it without the drive plugged in- just a guess.

In any case- I have tunes- no book.
