Default Strut 2010 RX350

I was told by the dealer that I have a rear passenger side leaking strut. How much should it cost to replace it?

Struts are relatively inexpensive. However the labor is what gets you.
If you buy them = $50 to 75 each. You can pay more or less - your choice.
dealer labor = $ 300 +/- or more.
dealer strut cost = $ 200 +/-

I purchased a set of 4 quick struts off eBay and payed $275 and installed them myself. Dealer wanted $1200 to do them.
Up to you....

Based on your post, you have "strut" listed, and if you're being advised to replace the rear passenger side rear strut, then you will want to know that the rear on a '10 RX350 is indeed a 'shock'.

This is important for you to know because a shock should be significantly less expenseive and involved in removing and replacing.

For reference, I removed and replaced a rear shock on a '11 RX350 in approx. 15 min.

Hope this helps provide more information to ensure you're informed and not being taken advantage of!

Any local repair shop can replace your rear shocks ( you should replace both at the same time as the cost is minimal and the other is likely about to fail) for a lot less than the dealer. It is a 2 bolt operation and very easy as stated above. I did both of mine at home in less than an hour and most of the time was removing tires and jacking up the car!
You can get replacement shocks at www.rockauto.com or your local shop can find them. There are only a few suppliers, OEM, KYB, Monroe and Sachs. All are good.
