i need to change my 2010 rx liftgate motor.
i found a used part from a 2015.
part number on 2010 is 689100E024
part number on 2015 is 689100E026
will the part from the 2015 work on 2010.
i cant find a clear answer

I see 3 different part numbers depending on production date so enter your VIN on this site then go to the body section>back door

68910-0E024 does not change up so I'd say the 2015 motor is not compatible.

but even if there are 3 part number why the part wouldnt fit. its the same car same design same generation...maybe those are updated version ?

The wiring connections may be different. Call a local Lexus dealer and ask about buying one, give them your VIN, then when he looks it up, ask for the part number (or if it is one of the part numbers you found), price, how long to get it etc, as if you were going to buy from them (which you may do, you never know)
