Looking to get an RX350, which year is recommended?

Believe it or not, I am STILL looking to get my RX! All the good ones get sold before I can get there. One even got sold right as I was talking to a salesperson. A lot of the others I see on places on cars.com etc seem to have been in accidents or in rough shape. One was sold, then listed again a couple days later...not sure if that is a bad sign, but I tend to wonder. I'll keep at it and hope something works out soon!

Here is a link that tells you what changes were made yearly: https://www.autotrader.com/car-shopp...changes-253488
End of Sept / Q4 is a good time to purchase a car. We got a 2013 RX F-Sport with 55k. If you don't care about the F-Sport package, I would opt for the best price/value/maintenance/color combination regardless of the year since differences between 2010 and 2015 are very minimal.

You can run regular gas in any year RX350, or ES350, it just reduces the power by about 5 horsepower. Lexus specified Premium gas for the RX and ES even though they have the same engine as the Toyota so it would bump up the horsepower and they could claim it had more power over the Toyota.
I often run regular, or 89 octane gas in mine depending on price, how much load I am carrying, trip length, mood, etc. It makes little difference as the electronic knock detectors take care of everything. This has been discussed a lot on this forum.

Finally got one!
Finally, after months of searching, I got a 2015 RX 350! Very happy so far with the vehicle. Great condition...well cared for with low miles. It was made late in the year, so it could be considered a 3rd generation "2016". Thank you to all who gave me such great advice and opinions. I'm sure to be back on here with more questions or suggestions as I intend on keeping this car for many, many years. Such a smooth quiet ride and I love all the space. My dog has already jumped in the back seat (covered of course) and was ready for his new ride!

Congrats. The RX is a great car, and I especially appreciate the durability.
Our family dog is a 60 lb Border Collie mix named "Daisy." I take her everywhere, the back seat is hers (protected by a tucked-in blanket).
