Default Can't adjust Seat Temps

I just bought a 2010 Lexus RX350. I am unable to turn either of the heat/ventilator controls for the front seats. They appear to be locked. I looked through the menu but didn't see anything. Is there a lock or is something broken?

It may be that the control ***** are both broken. There is no lock. You should be able to rotate them. Usually, they fail by just not providing any heat or cooling due to internal failure, but the ***** still rotate.

There are several on eBay for $74 - $129 or best offer. Search this title: 2010-2015 LEXUS RX350 SEAT HEAT SWITCH CONTROL

It appears the one for the 2007-2012 Lexus IS250 is the same part. That is the $74 one. It has this title: 2007 - 2012 Lexus ES350 IS250 Heated Seat Control Switch Unit 453451 OEM

It should not be difficult to pry out your old one using plastic trim removal tools (so you do not scratch the plastic) then pulling the plug on the old one and installing the new one.

I have seen them fail on another Lexus model forum and they replaced the switches/*****

Try to put a small drop of WD-40 around the gap of the dials to loosen ... or use a hair dryer to warm up the dials and may unfreeze them ... the dials may get stuck if liquid (ie. Coke) spills on them ... good luck!
