Post Acura RDX Rims fit RX?

Hello Folks,

I have Acura RDX Rims which have Original factory tires - 235/55R18.
I currenly would like to put snow tires (in a hurry!) on my Lexus - I have a 2013 Lexus RX350

I have a few question and hoping to get some insight and help-
- Will these Acura RIMS fit my Lexus?
- Is it safe to use these RIMS on the Lexus if the answer above is yes!
- I will look for decent snow tires to put on these rims; assuming the rims are good - any suggestions for Snow tire size to consider for best grip in Snowy conditions
- Going to the dealer or local garages will likely yield a no answer - my initial findings seem to indicate these rims may work? but i just do not want to spend time or $ without these preliminary questions answered. Any experience on this would be much appreciated!

Not knowing the year of the Acura, I will advise that the hub bore diameter on Acura vehicles is 64.1 mm which is larger than the Lexus hub bore diameter of 60.1 mm. The wheels require an exact fit hub bore alignment to be centered and ride smoothly. You may be able to purchase hub bore adapter rings to make them fit, but it can be tricky to make those work well and get a good wheel balance. I think base on this link that the bolt pattern is the same as Lexus and the offset close enough. https://autotk.com/wheels/acura/rdx/#2015
If it was my vehicle, I would not get them.
It is easy enough to find used Lexus or Toyota 18 inch wheels. Wheels from the Toyota Highlander, Sienna, or Venza will work perfectly, they are all on the same chassis as the RX350. Same with the Camry or Lexus ES350. Craigslist and eBay usually have many sets of used wheels available.
Then sell your Acura wheels on Craigslist or eBay.

Agree with sticking to Toyota-Lexus Rims. Using Acura-Honda will not work.

Default Acura Rims on Lexus RX

I just went through doing exactly this. I bought some used Acura rims with Pirelli snow tires last spring. I checked the bolt pattern and it seemed to be the same (which it was). The price was pretty good and the tires had very little wear.

A proper tire shop will carry hub centric rings which are used to fill the gap between the hub and the rim. It was 60.1 to 64.1 in my case. The wheels run very smooth with no problem at all.

Using hub centric rings is apparently very common on after-market rims. They intentionally make the hub size hole large so it will accommodate a variety of hubs. The rings do the job so don't let that stop you. Just pay a visit to your local tire shop (not just a garage that changes tires).
