Can you disable the Bluetooth?
I work for Lexus as a salesman and I have a customer that needs an older vehicle because with all the technology available wifi, bluetooth, keyless entry and start. My customer is sensitive to alot of Radio Frequency and gives her migraine headaches. She said the vehicle with bluetooth really mess with her. So my question is can I disable or turn of the bluetooth in a 2010 RX350? Or disconnect the bluetooth module what else would that mess with?

My local dealer has a technical guy who helps buyers set up their cars and phones etc. Or I would think you as a salesman for a Lexus dealer, could contact corporate Lexus for technical assistance on this subject.

Generally the RX's BT will only actively broadcast when a device is paired or being paired. Unlike a phone, tablet, or computer that might periodically be scanning for pairable devices, the RX only enters pair mode when asked to do so. So while there is no specific disable function, if no phone or audio device is paired then there should be very little transmissions. Make sure no old devices are still listed as paired. However, if the customer is really that concerned about really low level RF exposure (WiFi, and even standing near a microwave oven are stronger sources of RF then BT is) in the RX the wireless key is always a source of RF. The customer should be looking for a car without a wireless key.
