I just updated some of my lights. I have factory HIDs in the low beam so i left those alone. I was able to change the foglight, DRL, and Parking light all from through the engine bay - although reaching down for the fog lights was the most difficult.
I replaced the foglights, DRLs, and small parking light with LEDs.
Foglights:
Kind of pricey but my friend has had them installed for over a year and 20K miles of driving and they are still working great. They seem to be just as bright as the stock halogen bulbs. I like these because there is NO cooling fan that can break or start to squeal like others ive tried. This one instead uses Airflux technology with the metal fins to keep it cool.
DRLs:
I like these in the DRL spot. They act just like the halogen lights they replaced. I've used a couple Beamtech bulbs and i haven't had any issues with them.
Small Parking lights above the low beam HID light:
It's hard to get a decent photo that shows how these look but i can try to post a few.

These are typically what i use for 194 size bulbs and they work great. It's hard to get a decent photo that shows how these look but i can try to post a few.

I recommend you check out comparison videos made by Headlight Revolution, find them on you tube.
Unfortunately, cheap LED bulbs are not good, some are dimmer than the stock halogens.

i did a full swap / fogs as well, went with lighting dark LEDs off amazon, i know there we-rent the best but i didn't want to spend 200 on bulbs- mine came with halogen so the difference was night and day.

Thanks!!
So you went with Lightning Dark H11 LEDs for your fog lights?
Brighter?
How's the glare?
Whiter matching to the HIDs?

I changed all 4 bulbs, headlights + fogs. its bright I almost got xenon depot kids but it was 130 and I needed 2- I live in a very wooded area and in night I need more light. I think there is some glare from the fogs but not enough to blind incoming drivers. I will post some pics.

It looks very bright, I need to upgrade my fogs too.
The tops of the trees are lit up, so I think it would probably blind oncoming traffic. Did you notice any reaction from oncoming traffic? Or is this not a problem?

no issues with other drivers. The fogs are just as bright as the headlights. I might add a yellow tint to fogs to give that JDM look like I had in the GS400.

UZ214!!!
ude, you got my interest
Care to share the Amazon link for your Lightning Dark LED fogs? I looked and searched, no hit other than the headlight ones.
Also, when you say adjustable that means you can rotate the inners of the bulb ?
Links to what you referenced about YouTube ?
Thanks in advance

Thank you Uz214. Did you have any headlight fitment issues? Enough room to be plug and play so you didn't not have to modify how the big cooling fins fit at the housing? Also curious if you did before and after pics against the wall to see the difference in cut off. It sounds like you did not have to do any adjustments for the aiming, is that true? Oh, and what vehicle are we talking about? Is it an RX 350?
