Hope everyone is staying safe & making the efforts to remain safe during these unprecedented times.
We're in a state of emergency here in NB, essential services only.
Anyone know where I can find the bolt size securing the front & rear door exterior door handles ?
We're getting some rust staining dribbling down on the white paint & it looks to be a very simple job to change the rusted bolts for new.
Front door panels stay on & bolt is reached via an access hole sealed with a rubber plug. Rear door panels have to come off.
I'd like to have them in hand before I start into it.
Thank You

I recommend you do some searching on a few online Lexus OEM discount parts sites as some, such as Lexus South Atlanta Parts, have all the exploded parts drawings so you may be able to identify that handle bolt visually. A few of the other sites are MyLParts and LexusPartsNow. Good luck! However, others have complained of this dripping rust issue and were advised to just clean it up as it will happen again.
You may have similar results taking the handle apart, re-using the old bolt, cleaning it up, cleaning up any other rust and maybe spray painting the bolt with some Rustoleum or similar paint and putting it back together. A stiff wire brush or steel wool and some alcohol may remove all the rust from the bolt.

Hi Clutchless,
Yes, I was thinking along the same lines about remove/clean/coat & re-install. Tried sourcing it from suppliers a number of times prior to asking here.
I can buy the new bolts quite easily from about a dozen different vendors. Catch is they all come with a new exterior handle attached. HA!
Short term I hope to have some spare time over the next few weeks.
Thanks for your reply.
