Default What struts to purchase?

hi im hoping that someone could help me to find out where this was built the Vin is JTJBK1BA6C2447971
its a 2012 RX350 AWD
i am trying to find out what struts to purchase for this
at first i was thinking going on rock auto and getting KYB but they only have one strut for one front side that's a complete Strut assembly with spring sand all so they don't have both sides so then i decided if im going to just go with struts and not replace full assembly why not go with OEM but when im looking on MYL parts and part the vin in it still shows a few different options and im not sure which one to get for this car
any help here would be appreciated please
this is for my dads 2013 RX350 one of his struts is leaking the dealership wanted to charge him like 800 or 900 to replace it and that's just one but would rather just get him 2 new ones and have them charge labor

Will the dealer install struts that you purchased elsewhere? Many shops won't due to warranty and liability issues. Get new strut mount bearings too, they are inexpensive and take no additional labor to replace at the same time. They may have to replace the sway bar links if the old ones have to be cut off due to rust etc.

city 7 states i have lived in never once have i had an issue with a dealer not willing to instal my own supplied parts
for Lexus or Toyota dealerships

they wont warranty there work if the part is bad but they will if they did the work incorrectly

but make sure you let them know that if they wont there is a shop out there that will so if they want to pass up on it then make sure you let them know you know the real reason they don't want to is because they want to rip you off on parts costs

but in short yes shops and dealerships
dealerships are more likely to say yes.
