Question Difference in brake pad part number

Hello,

Does anybody know the difference between brake pad part number 04465-48150 and 04465-0E010, or advise part number or details for front brake pads for 2013 RX450H.
I saw matching items by Akebono and ACdelco, Bosch on Amazon, Ebay, Rock Auto.
Pls advise If anyone has changed brake pads recenty.

Thanks in advance

It probably depends on whether your vehicle was built in Japan or Canada (NAP). If your VIN begins with a J then it was built in Japan.

Go to this vender and enter your VIN it should help identify the correct OEM pad. https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/

Having said that, most aftermarket brake pad manufacturers do not make different pads for the different country builds. You just match your year and model.

Rock Auto is most often correct in identifying parts for your car. I do not trust Amazon without verifying elsewhere or if the reviews appear to be reliable and confirm fit, depending on the part. eBay vendors are about as or more reliable than the Amazon matches. This is just my opinion based on experience and yours may be different.

There are a few Lexus dealerships on eBay. If you order from them, you can pass on your vin and then have the comfort of getting the right part.

Zura - I read someplace that sometimes the difference in left and right part numbers, when they are identical, can be traced back to the robots at the factory. For some reason the robot on the left side of the car needs a different part number than the one on the right. I'm not sure if this pertains to brake pads, but I thought I'd throw it out just for grins and giggles.

04465-48150 are made in Japan
04465-0E010 are made in USA

They are interchangeable.
