I searched the forum for some recommended services performed on higher mileage RX's. Not much detail out there. I self perform the majority of all the mechanic work less a couple tricky items. I have a history of Toyota ownership and mechanic work. I purchased my RX350 used at 90k miles and just passed 100k miles. I have performed the following maintenance items but wanted to ask if there are any major ones out there we should make sure to do. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated. My suspension, steering, brakes, and tires are all in good shape.
Maintenance Completed:
1. Brake fluid flush and replacement
2. Regular interval oil changes 5k miles full synthetic
3. Coolant flush and replacement - Performed by Toyota using factory Pink fluid (make sure you use the correct toyota pink fluid) 3rd party green can lead to overheat disaster.
4. Transmission Fluid Replacement - Performed and certified by Lexus. This is tricky on our cars so I leave it to Lexus.
5. Differential/TC fluid replacement
6. Air filter (engine/cabin) inspection and replacement as needed
Items Planned:
1. PCV valve replacement
2. Spark Plug and ignition coil replacement
3. I was considering having an A/C refrigerant evacuation and replacement done but not sure if this is worth the $ as a preventative measure. Would love to hear input from others if A/C service is worth while.

1. Replacing the PCV valve takes 2 minutes and is worth doing. Just pull off the decorative engine cover and it is on the right side top of the engine.
2. Replacing the rear bank plugs and coils is a pain as you have to either remove the intake manifold or the wiper assembly. It takes a while if doing it yourself and a shop will charge several hundred dollars due to the time involved. However although Lexus says to replace them at around 100,000 miles, many have driven another 20,000 will no ill effects or noticeable detriment to performance.
3. Save your money. With A/C just use it as long as it keeps working and change the cabin air filter. It may pay to hook up a gauge to check the charge, but I have not seen many A/C complaints around here except for the compressor issue where someone invented a $5 fix by sticking a magnet on an external switch on the compressor to keep it running.
If you are in suburban Maryland outside Washington, DC I recommend checking out Satellite Motors in Silver Spring as they are independent Toyota/Lexus specialists that a couple of my Maryland friends use.

Find the thin manual in the glove compartment. All maintenance items are listed based on the service intervals. Lexus service does not fill them out any more and they keep the information on line. I record the items with date in the manual.

How are your shocks holding up? The rear shocks are infamous for leaking in the 2014-and-older models. Supposedly this issue was fixed by the 2015 model year but I am not holding my breath on that.
