Default Peeled off back bumper skin by accident

Wife caught it and it peeled right off backing out of driveway. The only damage is the connection points where the skin attaches to body. I would like to reinforce the holes and just snap it back in. Something like the white circles we used in school on paper 3-ring holes, when we tore out a page and wanted to put it back in a binder.

is there a plastic equivalent technique I could use to make those rings whole again?

I did a repair on the engine splash shield once ... I had strip of garden edge banding [big box store carry them in rolls for defining boundaries of grass. I cut out a 2.5"x 2.5" square flat portions 9the portion that is supposed to go in the ground] and drilled a hole in the middle. I have a cheap riveting tool [harbor freight] and drilled small hole through the shield and the piece and used the aluminum rivets to attach them together. If you can hide the rivets and the piece it just might work for you.

Thanks much. Will try that, or maybe some plastic glue....
