Readiness Monitor Drive Pattern for EVAP
Hello, I have a 2011 RX 350 whose monitors required reset after battery removal, I have reset all but EVAP. Would anyone have the specific drive pattern to reset EVAP. What I have been able to find is pasted below, I have repeated this pattern 4 times but no luck, any help would be appreciated. Bill3. EVAP MONITOR (KEY OFF TYPE)
(a) Preconditions
The monitor will not run unless:
· The fuel tank is less than 90% full.
· The altitude is less than 7874 ft. (2400 m).
· The vehicle is stationary.
· The engine coolant temperature is between 4.4°C and 35°C (40°F and 95°F).
· The intake air temperature is between 4.4°C and 35°C (40°F and 95°F).
· The vehicle was driven in a city area (or on a freeway) for 10 minutes or more.
(b) Monitor Conditions
(1) Turn the engine switch off and wait for 5 to 10 hours.
HINT:
Do not start the engine until checking Readiness Monitor status. If the engine is started, the step described above must be repeated.
(c) Monitor Status
(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(2) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(3) Turn the Techstream on.
(4) Check the Readiness Monitor status displayed on the Techstream.
If the status does not switch to Complete, restart the engine, make sure that the preconditions have been met, and then perform the Monitor Conditions again.

Is the question to get a better understanding or is there an urgent event that you want to get to [like getting an inspection]?
I would just drive for couple of days with some highway sustained speed. Usually within 5 days all channels will be ready to report pass/fail.

PS: Sorry I don't have the exact answer to the question you have asked.

I concur about just getting out on the road and driving the car for several days. That will probably resolve your monitor issues.
We have an annual inspection requirement here in North Carolina. I always get our vehicles inspected by the middle of the month they are due in order to allow for any unexpected monitor resetting needs that may show up.
