Default 2010 RX 450h lower control arm question.

I was told by my shop that I'll need to change this sometime soon. Will I need a wheel alignment when this is done?

Also is this a good substitute? Or any other suggestions? Thanks

this seems like front lower control arm. May I ask what went wrong with it?

You will need an alignment after the lower control arm is replaced. You should probably replace both because the other one will probably fail soon if one is bad. The vehicle is 10 years old and I assume has close to 100,000 miles or more and suspension components wear out.
Most of the time the shop doing the installation will procure the parts. Some will not warranty the installation if they did not provide the parts. However there are shops that let you bring your own parts.

Yeah I'm getting both arms replaced. The link shows both arms. Thanks for the alignment feedback

to be more specific, when you say they wore out, you mean that the rubber bushings wore out, correct? The others are steel. So, I'd assume they are still there, unless they were bent somehow...

Yeah the mechanic showed me the wear and he did tell me I could go on for some time and it wouldn't hurt but he told be it'll get progressively worse. I've always trusted him.
