Default Tire pressure display

Do the tire pressures show on the multi-information display. I know they do on other Lexus models, but can't find any info in the manual or threads here. Lots of info on resetting after the low pressure light comes on, but nothing on actual display of pressures. 2015 RX 350.

I think its the same across all 3rd gen RX, just toggle the steering wheel control on the left up or down to cycle thru all the MID displays, its in there.

I might be missing something, but I just checked the manual and this feature doesn't appear to be on the 2010 RX350. The pages vary a lot among the different manual versions, but I found it on page 172, on "Display contents", under the "2-2. Instrument cluster" item.

If it is there, I haven't seen it. Maybe it is just here in the US that it is not displayed.

Hmmm. I searched thru some online manuals. It seems the tire pressure display only shows up in the RX450h manuals. Sorry. I would have thought such a basic feature would have been universal to RX350 and RX450h, but seems not.

My 2010 only lights up if a tire is low on air. Then I have to check all of them to figure out which one. It does not identify individual tires. However my 2011 HS has a TPMS display for the pressure in each tire that you can toggle to via the steering wheel switch. Maybe the 2011 and newer RXs have a similar display. Or maybe not.

On the 450h you can see the tire pressures but there's no telling which number belongs to which tire.

If the person programming the system records the numbers in the typical order, and that's a big IF, it should go front left, front right, rear left, rear right. The display will show the tires in the order they are entered, so it really depends on the person doing the programming. I picked up my own programming tool, so now I can know for sure.

Nothing beats a good ol' tire pressure gauge kept in the glove compartment. I check all of our tires every weekend, along with the fluids. Been doing that since the mid-1970s. Works for me....

I agree. Nothing like a tire gauge for checking. I also do a weekly check, just nice to know everything that's available to preview on your car. On the Lexus Drivers website, I put in my vin and got a list of all the options on the vehicle. Below is a partial list of items on the car. TPMS is listed. My guess is, that it doesn't display the actual pressures, it just alerts you if you have low tire pressure.

I suppose if someone really wanted to electronically view their tire pressures for the RX350, you could use a bluetooth ODBII device with an app. I'm pretty sure the actual pressures would still be stored, just for whatever reason it wasn't made available on the MID.

By which app?

I use the OBDLink app, which works with my MX+ BT OBD module. Just to verify I could pull up tire pressures on my phone, I went through all the settings. There's so many it is sometimes hard to find the best options. Want to know how fast my coolant pump is running, check. What the temperature of my rear differential motor is, check. How much torque is requested of the regen braking system, check, on and on. Took me a while to find the TMPS settings, but it can show them. Here's a picture of my dashboard and the matching display on my phone showing both pressure and tire temps. Number 1 is a lie though. My winters are still running the orig TMPS sensors circa 2009 and that one the battery went dead over the summer. I keep one summer tire in my garage and programmed into that slot and it picks up the reading from that tire often enough to keep the warning light from going off.
