Hello,
My family & I are going to Florida during Christmas where I would like to purchase an RX350 for my wife.
Based on my research, model year 2007-2009 RX350 had melting interior issues.
Was any other year affected? Are years 2010 or later affected?
Thanks very much!

As far as I know this was limited to the second generation only. 2004 Was effected also. I know, I have one. The dash was replaced due to the "melting" issue. Just got sticky actually.

2004 - 2009 models are completely different vehicles than the 2010-2015 models which are known as the 3rd generation. I do not recall anyone complaining about this problem on the 3rd generation.
I suggest you spend some time reading and searching this forum to learn about the real issues to be aware of on the 3rd generation RX. when purchasing a used car.
My main tips are to get any potential purchase vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic and to research the Lexus dealer service history at the Lexus Drivers Site which you can join for free. Then enter the VIN of any car to see its service history at Lexus dealers. https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/
