Tire size 255/55/19
2010 rx350 sport package. I'm currently running 235/55/19. A friend has a nice set of Michelin for super cheap and I'm needing a set on mine. What would 255/55/19 look on it? Post pics if you're running this size. Also post if you think it would look like crap or not hardly noticable.
Thanks

The real issue is whether they are the correct size. There is a tire size calculator tool here on CL
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/tir...calculator.php
Using it I found the 255-55-19 tires have a Diameter difference:0.87" (2.88%) larger. This will give you a speedometer error. I don't know how much. There are other online tire size calculators that give that info.
However, 255 tires are borderline too wide for the stock 7.5 wheels. It may make them even taller than listed as they are being squeezed somewhat by the narrow wheels.
An 8 or 8.5-inch wide wheel would be better, as would 255/50/19 tires which are almost exactly the same diameter as stock. That is what I run.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but here are pics of my RX350 when I had 255/50/19 (rather than 255/55/19). The difference was noticeable, but probably only to me. The stance was a bit wider.

Do you think a set of 4th gen wheels/tires 235/55R20 would fit on my 3rd gen 2010 RX350? Stock is 235/60R18, so would be an increase in height by a little over 1". I'm not concerned with the speedo being off, wondering if it would rub?
