I don't know what specific version of maps I have but is there a way to split the screen where one half is map and the other half is audio? I recently came across a 2010 RXh for sale where I saw a picture with exactly that but I cannot replicate on mine.
Does an update give this ability? Thanks.

Did you mean half map, half directions? Mine when I actually use it has the map on the left and then it shows all the upcoming exits on the highway on the right and how far away they are. When your actually getting off on an exit on the right it will zoom in on the right on what lane you should be in / your turn.

Which year is your Rx? I get the directions etc on the split screen but but I want the audio on the other half of the screen with the maps.

Mines a 2010 the 2019 that I had was basically the same thing but in a wider screen.

Can you please explain/elaborate on "audio" in the other half. Are you interested in the radio/song/source/track info?

Pictures posted are showing next exit info and when you are navigating (destination programmed) that half zooms in to the intersection map.

That's right Salim. I want the other half to show Audio info like track played, etc. Is that possible?

I posted those pictures of my screen showing my split screen Navi. I too am confused by the audio thing. If your trying to split your screen so half can be half navigation and the other half hvac/radio/menu that’s only on the current generation RX with the wider screen.

Maybe the newer 3 RX from 13 to 15 has this feature? I believe I saw a car for sale which was a 3rd gen RX had this picture. I know the 4th gen has a different screen which stands out.

Our 2015 has it. It's one of the options for Map View.

I remember seeing it in Gen 3. Just don't remember where. Thought that was very useful.

While the RX did not get the Map + Audio split screen configuration until 2013 you can toggle
between Map and Audio by pressing the center console Map button and then the dash media
choice (AM, FM, CD, Sat, Aux) button.

Thanks for that tip and I'm aware of that. But it's extremely stupid of Lexus to do this when the hardware is practically the same.

2013's also was the first to be able to pair the Bluetooth for both phone and contacts and music in one
operation. While the 2010 - 2012's were an upgrade from the phone only 2009's and earlier you must pair your
phone in two steps to enable the media. You also must trigger the contact update in the car when you
add entries to the phone. New models do that automatically with a brief delay in being able to use the
voice command while it happening.
