This is the second time this has happened in 2 months. The car completely locks up/freezes. Steering wheel, start button, brakes, locks, no response from the fobs. No response at all from the car and everything is locked up tight. I can get into the car. because it was unlocked when the issue occurred. I called AAA the first time it happened. By the time the service truck arrived, the headlights were on and the car started. No such luck this time. I will be calling Toyota service today and will need the car towed unless there is some secret method to unfreeze the car. Thank you for you time.

Sulfated battery is intermittently shorting.
What does "by the time AAA got there the headlights were on" have to do with... Anything??!¿?

 

It’s called a flat battery. What’s with the drama. Just replace it.
