Anyone else get screwed by the Lexus app update?
Using Lexus Enform for iHeart radio, worked fine this morning, Lexus updated the app requiring me to download and install a new app.
now I can’t get into anything! Enform states use the new app and my car is reporting Enform is not running.
wtf!

Check the phone's settings for the app. In an Apple phone go to Settings and scroll
all the way down to Lexus App Suite (not LAS 2.0). Location "always or while using app",
Bluetooth On. In the App Suite itself be sure the iHeart account is still Linked.

Any ideas? - I deleted both the old enform app and the new lexus app, reinstalled and still not working
Blue Tooth service for phone and audio player are connected and working
I have an iPhone 12pro
Come on Lexus.. this has been working fine for 4 1/2 years why go and break it now!!

delete both apps on your iPhone, reboot the phone and re-install the Lexus Enform app.
open Lexus Enform and where it pops up to download the new app press the continue button ( not download) and log in.
at this point I went in my car and started it to verify connection, then when you open Enform again, you can download and install the new app.
Once I did this there was a software download to my head unit that was pushed out. As always make sure you are connected to your home Wi-Fi and not 5g.
Let me know if you need any more explanation, I was all kinds of pushed off trying to fix it this afternoon.

my instructions worked for exactly 2 days. Got in the car this morning and Enform had stated ‘use the new Lexus app’
I have deleted both and just reinstalled Enform and it’s working for now.

Looked for anyone in the ES forum having this issue and surprisingly, nothing. Found this thread and glad to see I wasn't going crazy. Got same screen as Breakers did in #3 post. Removed the Lexus app and did not have to remove the Enform app as it immediately started working again. (Even went to the car to make sure it connected.) The Nav in my '16 ES sux and I totally rely on the Destination search in the Enform app to find places. Thanks for posting..................I might have eventually tried uninstalling and reinstalling but at this point I was convinced Lexus screwed us and took all functions from the Enform App from us. I may leave the Lexus app off and make sure the Enform app continues to work.

Just following up on my earlier reply -
I have the exact same issue, and removing the new app seems to fix things.
I called the 800 number that appears on screen and the Lexus operator that answered said that it would have to be escalated to the telematics department. Apparently on my Lexus app / account there is not even an icon login to link my accounts. (like the old one had)
She said I was missing that button on the bottom of the app - can someone confirm that there is a "LINK" accounts button in the new app. Lexus would have to "add it back" and then I could refresh the app to fix? Anyone else do this?
Is there a button missing? The one that is needed to link accounts?
