Default center console leather replacement

Has anybody replaced the leather on the center console arm rest? I would like to replace mine, but I don't know how to remove it. I've gotten as far as removing the console cover with the leather attached, but I don't see a way to remove the leather from the plastic piece.

On most vehicles, the center console leather is usually held on by one of the various flavors of upholstery glue. You have to look for the seams underneath the lid and carefully wedge something into and under them in order to pry them off. I have done this on other vehicles using my X-Acto hobby knife, a wide flat-blade screwdriver, and plenty of patience and care.
