2013 RX 350 Radio Static
My 2013 RX 350 radio reception has went to static at the same time intervals. It use to go to static at exactly 1 hour and 44 minutes. It now goes to static at 1 hour and 22 minutes. If I switch to CD it works fine. Could the problem be in the amplifier and not sure of amp location on this model year?

If you have anything plugged into the power outlets, unplug it and see what happens.
I had a problem once when a portable battery pack plugged in back in the trunk caused an electrical noise problem in my car.

Welcome to CL. Try some searching as others have had similar problems. Also there is a dedicated general audio forum on this site that you should check and search.
I think I recall that Amplifier location depends on which sound system-trim level is in your RX. Do you have Navigation?
It could be the amplifier or the head unit itself. Hard to diagnose online.
Some internal component in one of them is probably getting too hot after that amount of time and shutting down. If it blew a fuse it would not work at all.

At the top of this page there is a link that says FORUMS, click it and you will see SPECIAL INTEREST FORUMs, then AUDIO etc
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...lectronics-12/
Used amps are over $400 on eBay.

Do you drive past an electrically "noisy" location an hour and a half from home?
Had a guest that was a Radio Broadcast Engineer ask if the RF emissions would
stall our cars? (I was at Chevrolet back then) Didn't know but plated up the Celebrity
Station Wagon and headed to his work site. In the gate and right up to the blockhouse
at the tower base. Purred right along, bought the car! Turns out his Dodge sedan would
get 30 yards from the transmitters and just conk out. Had to roll back to recover.
